Origin:
Based out of Mossguard and founded by Blanche Redwynn (human mage), Garrak Blacktongue (half orc warrior), Kyle Lastnfurst (gnome rogue), and Garland Thorne (wild elf), the group originally called itself Redwynn’s Raiders. Taking minor contracts in the Northern hinterlands, Redwynn’s Raiders had moderate success and eventually expanded their operations across the Northern reaches of the Kingdom. During this time Kyle Lastnfurst died while executing a contract in the Bitter End Dungeon of and was replaced by Frank Sappa. Some time later while expanding their range to the Western mountain ranges, Frank Sappa perished in Knockemstiff Cavern and was later replaced by Mick Dagger a bard. Garland Thorne left the group some time amid rumors of a tumultuous relationship with Mick Dagger. Shortly after clearing the infamous Bugscuffle Dungeon, Garrack Blacktongue left the group amid rumors of a tumultuous relationship with Mick Dagger. Around this time the group picked up Hamma Thyme, a war hammer wielding warrior, Ben Cushion, an archer, and Amity Breeze, a tiefling of multiple talents. At this point the group decided upon a name change in order to soften it’s image and attract a broader clientele, the Demon’s Grin Group.
Broadening their reach further East and South, the newly renamed Demon’s Grin Group, tackled piracy along the coast, smashing both the Moody Crew and the infamous Spice Girls which began to attract the attention of nations abroad. Shortly after moving their headquarters to the capital, Everward, Mick Dagger was found decapitated and pierced by a multitude of arrows in an alley. After this the core group remained Blanche Redwynn, Hamma Thyme, Ben Cushion, and Amity Breeze. Many other adventurers came and went and the group took larger and longer contracts. Over time the Demon’s Grin
Group purchased the Hearty House, a manor in the capital.

Eventually striking abroad for larger and larger scores. The final major contract taken sent a majority of the group abroad to a place known as Nightmire. The remaining group members took lesser local contracts. News from the departed group members came in regularly for months but eventually stopped. After some time the remaining Demon’s Grin Group members decided to head out in search of their comrades. That was the last time anyone had seen members of the Demon’s Grin Group.
